ORGANIZING STATEMENT
We are organizing URM Students in WA enrolled in health career programs, to intentionally create support
systems for student wellbeing, academic advancement, and leadership opportunities in health careers, by
creating peer mentorship structures with healthcare graduate students, college students, and high school
students.
GOAL
The Peer Mentorship program aims to assist in the connection of pre-healthcare students who have gone
through a HCCP program. Through these connections we hope to help foster relationships that can contribute
to support systems for student wellbeing, academic advancement, and leadership opportunities in health
careers. Pairing of individuals will be done through the best ability of aligning similarities, while also ensuring
there is space for each individual to learn something new.

conjunction with several other alumni from HCCP programs.
CAMPAIGN PROGRESS
The Peer Mentorship program is growing and developing at this time. Opportunities to join the peer
mentorship program will come soon.
